Port Elizabeth residents are being reminded of planned maintenance taking place this Sunday 9 December 2018.
Metro Spokesperson Kupido Baron says this will affect the water supply to large parts of the city.
He says water tankers will be stationed in the affected areas and residents can also contact the 24-hour call centre on 0800 20 50 50
The following areas will be affected from 6 am:
- Gelvan Park
- Gelvandale
- Helenvale
- Springdale
- Bridgehaven
- Jarman
- Algoa Park
- Kwaford
- Young Park
- New Brighton
- Struanway
- Struandale Industrial
- Kwazakhele
- Balfour Heights
- Missionvale
- Dora Nginza Hospital
- Nelson Mandela University Vista Campus
- Zwide
- Silvertown
- Soweto-on-Sea
- Veeplaas
These residents are requested to prepare themselves accordingly to allow for the critical work to take place.
