Eastern Cape police have arrested one suspect and are searching for his two accomplices following a robbery at the Kareedouw Post Office.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Majola Nkohli, says the robbery took place on Wednesday when three men stormed into the building in Van Riebeeck Street at around 3 PM.
He says they tied up three Post Office employees, took a large amount of cash, and fled in one of the staff members' car which was later found abandoned.
Nkohli says police got wind of a second getaway car which was spotted in Humansdorp and pulled over.
A 37-year-old man was arrested and is due to appear in court on Friday.
