St Francis Bay restaurant goes up in flames

The well-known Indigo Moon restaurant in St Francis Bay has been destroyed by fire.

Authorities are busy assessing the damage to the building this morning, which is situated at the port.

According to a Facebook post on the Disaster Volunteer Group page, locals were alerted to the fire "by the sound of exploding gas bottles at about 11.30pm".

It's understood that the fire was extinguished at around 1 am.
