Eastern Cape police have launched a manhunt for three suspects linked to a triple murder in Payne Location.
According to Captain Khaya Tonjeni the three men forced their way into a flat two days ago and opened fire on the occupants.
He said one person was killed inside the flat while three others were gunned down outside while trying to escape.
One man who was critically injured was rushed to a hospital.
Tonjeni said the motive for the killing is still unknown.
Police have appealed to anyone with information which may lead to the arrest of the suspects to contact the SAPS Crime Stop Line.
