Police members in East London are still searching for the gunmen who shot and killed football boss, Siphiwo Nyobo.
The 68-year-old businessman and owner of the Tornado Football Club was shot whilst sitting inside his vehicle at Lennox Street in East London.
Nyobo's driver and an innocent bystander were also wounded in the incident and are currently in hospital receiving medical treatment.
Police have meanwhile activated their 72-hour activation pan which entails the mobilisation of critical resources, including crime intelligence, forensic experts.
Seasoned detectives from the Hawks have also been roped in.
Police are appealing to anyone with information to contact the East London police.
The South African Football Association (SAFA) expressed their condolences and called on the public not to rush to any conclusions regarding the motive of the killing.
