A man from Conville, George has been sentenced in the Thembalethu Regional Court to 48 years imprisonment for the rape and abduction of a 14 year old girl.
Fifty one year old Errol Borcherds was earlier convicted of abducting the teenager in Pacaltsdorp in April 2013.
He then drove his victim to a cemetery in York Street in George, where he raped her twice.
Regional Magistrate Eugenia Jacobs sentenced the accused to four years imprisonment for abduction and 22 years imprisonment for each of the rape cases against him.
