Great-Brak police are searching for the killer or killers of a 65-year-old woman on her farm.
Police captain Malcolm Pojie says the body of Ria Mills was found on Saturday night after she failed to show up for a dinner appointment with friends.
He says she had a gunshot wound to the neck. A revolver was found at the scene.
Pojie says the assailants fled with several household items including electronic equipment.
Mills' bakkie was found near the Wolwedans Dam on Sunday morning.
Anyone who may have information on the murder should contact their nearest police station.
