Southern Cape police say four people have been arrested in Oudtshoorn and Calitzdorp on charges of fraud and corruption.

Police spokesperson, captain Bernadine Steyn, says they were arrested this morning following an intensive investigation between the police and the Departments of Transport and Public Works.

Two men, aged 29 and 30 year, were arrested at the Calitzdorp traffic department while a 39 year old woman was arrested at the Oudtshoorn traffic department.

The fourth suspect, a driving school instructor, was arrested in Outsdhoorn.
