South Africans living in London are queuing in their numbers to vote in this year's general elections.
The Independent Electoral Commission says more than 9800 South Africans will cast their ballots at the SA Embassy at Trafalgar Square on Wednesday.
More than 26 000 are registered world-wide.
Algoa FM News spoke to former Port Elizabeth journalist, Piet van Niekerk, who was standing in the queue to cast his ballot on Wednesday morning.
He says its extremely busy at the polling station.
"I suppose there's about 6000 people here, it's quite festive and obviously some entrepreneurs around selling boerewors and biltong. Obviously there is some canvassing with people from the DA and ANC encouraging people to vote for their parties."
