Teachers at Selborne College in East London organised counsellors at school today following the death of two learners over the weekend.
The two grade ten pupils were killed in the early hours of Saturday morning when the car they were travelling in hit a tree.
The driver allegedly took his father's car without permission to go with friends to a nightclub in East London where an international rapper was performing.
The driver and his friends reportedly rushed home after receiving a call from his parents.
One of the learners died on the scene and the other died from his injuries later in hospital.
Police Spokesperson Lieutenant Colonel Mtati Tana says due to the driver being a minor, the docket has been handed over to the children s court.
