Port Elizabeth police have arrested four Somali nationals for allegedly shooting dead a local taxi driver.
Police spokesperson, warrant officer Tembi Gwe, says they alleged that they had been robbed by four men who fled in a taxi.
The Somali's who allegedly followed the taxi, forced it to a stop in Struanway in Struandale.
The four robbery suspects fled but Gwe says its alleged that one of the Somali's then shot and killed the taxi driver.
She says a traffic officer was alerted who then chased after their fleeing bakkie.
Gwe says the alleged shooter is still at large.
