The Department of Justice has established a small claims court for the Aberdeen magisterial district in the Eastern Cape.
The Department says this milestone is part of the Department's revitalisation programme to ensure that there is a Small Claims Court in every magisterial district country-wide.
The small claims courts deal with civil matters of up to R12 000.
The Aberdeen Small Claims Court is the 42th Small Claims Court to be established in the Eastern Cape.
