Detectives from Kabega Park in Gqeberha are looking for the public's help in identifying the skeletal remains of a man who was found in the bushes in Greenbushes on Sunday.
Police Spokesperson Colonel Priscilla Naidu says children who were playing in the bushes near Zwelindinga informal settlement stumbled onto the skeleton.
She says police suspect that the man may have died about six months ago.
Colonel Naidu says neatly packed wood was lying next to the deceased who was dressed in a yellow t-shirt, Khaki pants, black and white takkies with two black beanies lying next to him.
She says the deceased was about 1.6 m tall.
