Police in Despatch have found the skeletal remains of a person they're now trying to identify.
Spokesperson, Captain Gerda Swart, says the skeletal remains were found in dense bushes on Wednesday, close to Maraboe Crescent in Reservoir Hills.
She says the circumstances surrounding the death of the person is unknown and a post mortem will be conducted to determine race, age, sex, and possible cause of death.
Swart says an inquest docket was opened for investigation but has appealed to anyone who might be looking for a relative or who might be able to assist the investigation, to contact Despatch detectives.
