A sixth suspect has been arrested in Mpumalanga for killing an 83-year-old granny in Sterkspruit in the Eastern Cape.
Saturday's arrest of the 32-year old man follows after five suspects were arrested in various parts of the Eastern Cape and the Western Cape.
The elderly woman was brutally murdered by the suspects at her home at Majuba Village near Sterkspruit on 15 March.
Those arrested are facing charges ranging from arson, attempted murder, assault with the intent to cause grievous bodily harm and murder.
Five of them appeared in court last week and their case was remanded to the 26 March for a formal bail hearing.
The 32-year-old is expected to appear in the Sterkspruit Regional Court on Monday.
Police say more arrests are expected soon.
