Sixteen-year-old charged for rape/murder of 2-year-old

 A 16 year-old youth is appearing at the Nerina House for juveniles on Tuesday for the rape and murder of a 2 year-old boy.

Police warrant officer Dumile Gwavu says the toddler was playing with other children at Songololo street Soweto on Sea, Port Elizabeth on Sunday when he went missing.

He was later found dead at a house in Serote Street.

Gwavu says police arrested the suspect on Monday and have positively linked him to the crime.
