Six people were killed after the bus they were travelling in overturned on the R61 between Beaufort West and Aberdeen over the weekend.
The MEC for transport in the Eastern Cape Weziwe Tikana says the bus, which was fully loaded with 42 passengers, was travelling from the Western Cape when the driver lost control about 40km from Aberdeen.
Three women, two men and a young boy were amongst the dead.
Tikana says four other passengers were seriously injured and are being treated in Hospitals in Graaff Reinet and Aberdeen.
The exact cause of the crash will form part of a police investigation.
