Six killed in EC accident

Six people were killed, when their vehicle crashed into a boundary wall of a house in Mthatha early on Sunday morning.

A spokesperson for the Eastern Cape Transport Department, Unathi Binqose says the BMW sedan burst into flames, and all six occupants burnt beyond recognition.

He says the vehicle was entering Mthatha from Engcobo's side when the accident happened.

Binqose says police have opened an inquest docket.
