Six in court for spate of robberies,rapes and murder

Six men are due to appear in the Bityi Magistrate's Court near Mthatha today, for a spate of robberies, rapes and a murder in a nearby village.
Most of the crimes were committed on the night of February 19 at Mbozwana.
Police Captain Ernest Sigobe says the men, aged between 19 and 32, are accused of raping three women in their homes and of murdering a 79-year-old man.
They are also accused of a string of house robberies.
