Sisulu continues ANC election campaign in EC on Wednesday


Human Settlements Minister, Lindiwe Sisulu, will celebrate Women's Day in Ngcobo in the Eastern Cape on Wednesday.

This, as she continues to communicate her message of hope under her Presidential campaign theme - 'It is a MUST'.

Sisulu officially launched her campaign to lead the ANC on the 22nd of July.

Since then she's been traversing the country to meet different stakeholders in preparation for the ANC's elective conference in December.

“She continues to suggest solutions to the many problems that bedevilling the organisation today,” said her spokesperson, Makhosini Nkosi.

He said Sisulu was invited to Ngcobo by the Royal Family of Amagcina naYirha under the leadership of King Daluxolo Jezile.

“This event will be attended by Chiefs from the area and their communities. In her address to this community, she will espouse her vision for the transformation plan that is required for women advancement and empowerment in the country especially those needed by women in rural communities,” said Nkosi.

He said Minister Sisulu would also be “attentively listening to the aspirations and immediate needs of the community and their suggestions on how best to achieve these”.
