The South African Air Force's aerobatic display team, the Silver Falcons, arrived at Port Elizabeth airport on Thursday.
The team, under command of Major Roy Stroul, is scheduled to perform at Saturday's air show, in aid of the MTR Smit Children's Home.
Air show commentator Brian Emmenis says several other pilots and their aircraft have also arrived, with more expected later on Thursday and Friday.
The air show will be held on Saturday and will continue until late in the afternoon.
Organisers say the timing is perfect for the thousands of participants in the Algoa FM Discovery Big Walk, to proceed to the airport after the walk for a fun-filled day in the outdoors, all in aid of different charities.
