Eastern Cape police say a case of attempted murder is under investigation after shots were fired at the offices of a taxi organisation in Peddie.
Warrant Officer, Majola Nkohli, said a man wearing a face mask stormed into the offices of the Peddie Taxi Association on Wednesday morning and opened fire on the people inside.
He said no one was injured, adding that the gunman fled in a waiting car.
Nkohli said police are following all leads, and also urging anyone with information that could lead to the arrest of the suspect, to contact the nearest police station.
