Two men and two women will appear in the Knysna Magistrate's court on Friday after clothing with an estimated value of 20-thousand rand was found in their possession near the Knysna Mall on Tuesday afternoon.
Southern Cape Police spokesperson, Captain Malcolm Poje says investigations revealed that the women were fitting clothing in the fitting rooms at the mall and then concealing these items under their original clothing.
Poje says the two men were arrested in follow up operations and a vehicle believed to be used to transport the stolen goods was also seized.
Police also took possession of a Canon printer believed to be used to replicate slips in order for the suspects to exchange stolen goods for cash later.
Preliminary investigation indicate that the group was from Gauteng and was travelling from Cape Town at the time of their arrest in Knysna.
