Police in East London are investigating a case of murder after the body of a 24-year-old missing woman was discovered by shepherds on a farm in Berlin, outside East London.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Sibongile Soci, says shepherds were out looking for cattle when they discovered Sinesipho Lukhotsholo's partially decomposed body on Wednesday.
The deceased was reported missing on the second of October after she and a friend had travelled from Chalumna to visit their boyfriends in Berlin.
It is believed that they visited a local liquor outlet in the area where an argument between two groups led to a brawl where shots were fired.
Soci says this was the last time the deceased was seen alive.
Police believe that the body was dumped in Berlin after the murder.
