Sexwale to launch new degree in Human Settlements at NMMU

Human Settlements Minister, Tokyo Sexwale, will launch the country's first chair for education in human settlements at Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University.
NMMU says the the Chair aims to make a significant contribution to the education and training of undergraduate students in the new Bachelor's Degree in Human Settlements Development.
Matriculants and those interested in specialising in human settlements at a University level will be able to study for this degree at NMMU from 2014.
NMMU says the degree will ensure that graduates who enter the profession understand the key issues and debates in the sector and are competent to implement policies and solutions.
