The trial of a 64-year-old former Wittedrift High School teacher, who allegedly sexually assaulted his granddaughter in August 2012, was set to start in the Knysna Regional Court on Monday but was postponed as the accused is currently traveling abroad.
Since the man's arrest in December last year, the case has been postponed several times.
The accused, who is out on bail, is facing charges of sexual assault and exposure or display of pornography to a person under the age of 16.
The case has been rescheduled for the 23rd of July this year.
