The trial of a farmer from Ruiterbos area, who is accused of sexually assaulting children of his farm workers, has started in the Mossel Bay Regional Court.
The man, who is in his late fifties, is accused of sexual assualting at least three children on his farm.
One of the victims, now a 19-year old boy, started testifying in camera on Monday.
It is alleged that the suspect sexually assaulted the children for months on his farm, and mostly in his farmhouse.
A case of sexual assault was opened and investigated by the The Mossel Bay Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit in 2012.
Some of the allegations include that the man offered his victims sweets and cold drinks in turn for sexual favours. A second child started testifying in court on Tuesday. The children were between the ages of 10 and 15 years during the alleged sexual assaults.
The suspect is pleading not guilty on all charges against him.
