Eastern Cape premier Phululo Masualle will deliver his State of the Province address in the Bhisho Legislature on Friday.
However, it comes in the shadow of last week's chaos in Parliament and the fall-out which is still continuing over the blocking of cellphone signals and the ejection of EFF members from Chamber.
DA provincial leader, Atholl Trollip, says the Eastern Cape is no laughing matter and while he expects no laughing from Premier Masualle, he believes the Premier should be addressing the critical areas in the province that need determined attention and drastice action.
On the issue of service delivery, Trollip said in the Eastern Cape service delivery is way below par, and should be addressed as a matter of urgency, as it affected the lives of every South African.
