A 22-year-old serial rapist from the Eastern Cape man has been sentenced to a combined 57-years in prison in the Grahamstown High Court on Tuesday.
Thulani Lamani was just 17-years-old when he committed his first two rapes. It was a 15-year-old girl whom he raped twice in her house during an armed robbery.
A spokesperson for the Nasional Prosecuting Authority Anelisa Ngcakani says his victims were between the ages of 15 and 26.
Lamani raped four women and attempted to rape another.
The rapes all took place in Elliot and DNA linked Lamani to all the crimes.
