A suspected serial carjacker has appeared in court in Uitenhage on a string of charges.
Police spokesperson, Sergeant Majola Nkohli, says the 25-year-old man was arrested on the 15th of this month and appeared in court two days later on charges of reckless and negligent driving and escaping from lawful custody.
Nkohli says the same suspect also appeared in court on Tuesday on no less than six charges of carjacking.
