A secret police video recording of PE murder accused, Christoper Panayiotou, talking to Luthando Siyoni, the alleged middleman in the murder of his wife Jayde, was played in court on Wednesday.
This, after Judge Dyalin Chetty, ruled in a trial within a trial on Monday that the video recording be admitted into evidence.
Police witnesses testified and were cross-examined about the video recording during testimony on Wednesday after the defence abandoned a bid to get Judge Chetty to recuse himself.
In the recording Panayiotou is heard, among other things, expressing his unhappines with Siyoni about the way things turned out on the day that his wife was abducted and later murdered in April 2015.
Panayiotou is on trial with two-accused for his wife's murder and abduction.
Siyoni, a key state witness, has since been declared a hostile witness.
