Eastern Cape police have detained a second suspect in connection with the brutal murder of Aberdeen farmer, 75-year-old, George Featherstone.
He was shot six times by intruders on his farm Glenloch near Aberdeen on Thursday night.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Wessel Cronje, says the second suspect was detained in the Aberdeen area on Saturday afternoon.
The first suspect was taken in for questioning earlier on Saturday morning.
Cronje says the two are due in court this week.
He says the case is now in the hands of the Organised Crime Unit.
