Second police station closed in Garden Route after staff member tests positive for Covid19

A second police station in the Garden Route had to close after a staff member tested positive for Covid19.

Southern Cape Police spokesperson Captain Malcolm Pojie says the KwaNonqaba police station in Mossel Bay has been closed.

He says the station will relocate to the KwaNonqaba Community Hall.

On Tuesday the Da Gamaskop police station closed after a member tested positive for Covid 19.

Pojie says the members who have tested positive are in self-isolation and protocol is being followed to trace all those that might have been in direct contact with the members.

Both stations will be opened on Monday.
