The Eastern Cape government is expected to receive a report on Friday regarding complaints levelled against some private hospitals in the province.
Premier, Lubabalo Mabuyane, had tasked Health MEC, Sindiswa Gomba, to investigate and submit a report to the alleged ill-treatment of patients and health-care workers at these facilities.
His office said that the Premier’s concerned by these allegations, adding that it was the provincial government’s task to ensure that all private health facilities comply with their license conditions.
