The Health Professions Council of South Africa has confirmed that a second sexual assault complaint has been laid against Port Elizabeth doctor.
The 62-year-old was initially arrested at his Rowallan Park practice last month, but the matter was taken off the court roll due to an incomplete docket.
The two cases will now be investigated together by the Health Professions Council.
Spokesperson, Fezile Sifunda, says they've received correspondence from the doctor's attorneys who are obtaining instructions to furnish the Council with an explanation.
Since Algoa FM News first published the story online, at least 20 women took to our Facebook page claiming to have been victims of the doctor.
According to the police, several women came forward with complaints about the doctor's conduct, but none of them were prepared to make a statement.
