The death toll in Monday's accident on Seaview Road has risen to two.
Police spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg says the crash occurred in the afternoon between a Ford Fiesta and a truck.
She says the female passenger of the car died on the scene and the driver, a man, succumbed to his injuries in the Livingstone Hospital on Tuesday.
The driver of the truck was not injured.
Janse van Rensburg says they are still trying to trace the victims' next of kin and therefore their names are being withheld.
A case of culpable homicide is under investigation.
