Search underway for two men missing in flooded river

 A search is underway for 2 men who are missing in the fast flowing Mtentu River between Bizana and Port Edward.

NSRI spokesperson, Craig Lambinon, says another man survived the ordeal.

He says the men were trying to cross the river early on Wednesday morning in a small paddle boat when it capsized.

Lambinon says one man made it to shore but his two companions were swept away in the water.

Members of the public and a police dive team are assisting in the search.
