Search resumes for student who fell off cliff in Kareedouw

The search has resumed for a young university student who plunged a reported 60 metres down a cliff and into a waterfall on his family's Kareedouw farm.

Twenty-two-year-old Johan van Huysteen reportedly slipped and fell down late on Monday afternoon on the farm Hudsonvale.

Police spokesperson, Sergeant Majola Nkholi.

" Rescue services had to stop the search on Monday night due to bad light. The search will continue this morning and SAPS divers have joined the search" he said.
