Search for missing bather enters third day

A search continues for a man who went missing at Kariega Beach in Kenton on Sea on Sunday afternoon.

The 23-year-old Siphelo Fani from Alexandria went swimming with two of his friends when they all got into trouble in the water.

Police spokesperson Captain Mali Govender says two of Fani's friends managed to swim to safety.

Authorities were alerted and a search of the area was conducted.

The search resumed for a third day on Tuesday.
