Cradock police are appealing to the local community to come forward with information that may help them find an 8-year-old girl who went missing from a tuck-shop in Cape Town.
Spokesperson Captain Lariane Jonker says the 54-year-old suspect who is allegedly linked to her disappearance was arrested in Cradock, late on Monday evening.
Tazne van Wyk was last seen on the 7th of February at a tuck-shop opposite her homestead in Ravensmead and is still missing.
According to the Missing Poster from Pink Ladies, Tazne has a scar on her left hand from an operation.
The suspect will appear in the Cradock Magistrate's Court soon.
