The search continues for a Port Elizabeth man who kidnapped his ex-wife moments after she dropped off their son at school in Kabega Park more than a week ago.
Police spokesperson, Colonel Priscilla Naidu, said the 45-year-old man abducted the woman last Thursday and drove towards Stormsriver.
She said while driving they were involved in a scuffle in the car in which the woman was stabbed and the suspect also sustained a stab wound before the car crashed and the man fled.
He was last was wearing a pair of blue jeans, a grey hoodie, and a black cap and was carrying a blue bag and a toolbox.
Naidu said investigators returned to search the area and surrounding bushes this week and will be returning again to find the suspect.
Police are meanwhile urging anyone who may have spotted the man, who, by law, cannot be identified, to contact their nearest police station immediately.
