The search for a man who was reported missing in Hartenbos this week will continue on Thursday with the help of the K9 unit.
The 70-year-old Petrus Groenewalt was last seen by his wife on Tuesday when he left the house in his Toyota Hilux bakkie.
Police spokesperson Captain Wollie Fourie says they found Groenewalt's bakkie abandoned in a bushy area at Saasveld in George on Wednesday.
Police searched the area but could find no trace of Groenewalt.
Fourie says there is also still no trace of the 68-year-old man who went missing last month in Mosselbay.
Julius Verhoog was last seen on 28 February when he left his home in Island View, in his grey Citroen.
Verhoog left his wallet and phone at home and has not been seen since.
