Police are still searching for two suspects, after a couple from Fraaiuitsig near Mossel Bay was attacked in their home on Saturday evening.
Members from the Great Brak River police station managed to arrest one of three suspects shortly after the incident.
The other two escaped after they held the man and woman at gunpoint.
The male victim sustained injuries after he was allegedly hit by an object over the head.
He was treated for his injuries in a local hospital.
The suspect will appear in court on Monday.
