A school in Bedford is so desperate for funds that a teacher is making and selling steel drum braai stands to help pay creditors.
And, according to DA MPL, Ross Purdon, next to go will be the school's tractor and bus.
He says a donation of naartjies is being sold to pay for paper.
Templeton is owed around R300 000 by the Education Department for School Governing Body posts for educators who were supposed to be paid in the 2011/2012 financial year.
Meanwhile, Purdon also says that other schools in Bedford and Adelaide areas face similar problems of teacher shortages.
