Eastern Cape police have appealed to school learners not to take the law into their own hands.
The warning follows the vandalisation of a school in Lusikisiki on Tuesday following protest over issues related to temporary teachers.
Police said learners at Palmerton Senior Secondary School, broke down school doors, windows, furniture and electrical appliances.
On Wednesday, learners at Sanctor High School in Bethelsdorp, Port Elizabeth burnt tyres in a protest over the shortage of teachers, while more than 300 learners at Patensie Secondary School also held a similar protest.
