The search for a missing mother from Gqeberha is continuing.
Sylvia Wittal (45) was last spoken to on the 30th of December when her ex-husband made arrangements to see his children.
Police spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge says they have expanded their search outside of the city and are following up on several leads.
Wittal's Silver Kia Picanto was found by police at Sacramento in Schoenmakerskop on Monday where it was reportedly parked for two days.
Beetge says their initial search started in the surrounding bushes and the shoreline area.

In 2019, Wittal's ex-husband was also reported missing but he resurfaced two days later.
