Gqeberha police are searching for a woman who was last spoken to on the 30th of December.
Police spokesperson Captain Andre Beetge says the 45-year-old Sylvia Wittal last spoke to her ex-husband, Kevin Crouse when they made arrangements for their two children.
Crouse opened up a missing person report on Sunday when he did not hear from her again.
Captain Beetge says Wittal's Silver Kia Picanto was found by police at Sacramento in Schoenmakerskop on Monday and according to eyewitnesses the car has been parked there for the past two days.
He says police are currently searching surrounding bushes and the shoreline of the area.
