Police in the Garden Route are appealing for help in tracing two suspects following a house robbery and attempted rape in Wilderness on Thursday.
Police spokesperson, captain Bernadine Steyn, says the matter is being investigated by the Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offences Unit from George.
She says two men were confronted by a 25-year-old woman in her mother's bedroom after gaining access through a bedroom window.
Steyn says the men tried to rape the woman but when she resisted they tied her up and took several items, including laptops and an I-phone, before fleeing on foot.
Anyone who may have information that can assist the investigation should contact the George police.
