Fifteen members of teachers' union Sadtu are appearing in the Fort Beaufort Magistrastes' Court on Tuesday on intimidation charges.
Police spokesperson, Warrant Officer Bradley Rawlinson says employees at the local office of the Department of Education laid the charge on Monday.
They say that they were intimidated on Friday, when Sadtu-members who were taking part in industrial action, prevented them from doing their work.
The alleged intimidation took place at the Department's offices and at Cape College.
