Employees of Sun International in the Eastern Cape who are members of the union, Saccawu, will be embarking on strike action from Friday.
The SA Commercial, Catering and Allied Workers Union said on Thursday that employees at the Boardwalk Casino, Fish River Sun and Wild Coast Sun will join around 4 000 Sun International employees country-wide in the strike.
Marches are expected at the Boardwalk and Wild Coast Sun, Windmill Casino, Sun City and Grand West in Cape Town.
The union says after six months of negotiations the parties are not any closer to reaching an agreement on a 10% wage and other demands.
